Presence of mammals such as the otter (Lutra lutra) and the pine marten (Martes martes). Coastal populations of the Iberian Rock Lizard (Iberolacerta monticola) and the Common Frog (Rana temporaria). Notable populations of dune plants, orchids and peat-bog plants (Sphagnum, Drosera, Utricularia). Vast meadows of marine phanerogams (Zostera noltii) and seagrasses (Spartina, Juncus, Halimione, Salicornia). Endemic plants (Sagina merinoi, Centaurea borjae, Linaria aguillonensis) and ferns scarce in Galicia (Culcita macrocarpa, Hymenophyllum wilsonii).
